Welcome to Shraga Cafe! We are a family-run catering service & coffee shop in Jerusalem with a menu based on local, fresh ingredients and many delicious gluten-free and vegan options. We are a friendly and homey choice for your private events or for a perfect cup of coffee.

Our renowned sandwiches are prepared upon request on hand-baked sourdough, whole-wheat or spelt-wheat bread, with no yeast or sugar added (gluten free buns are also available)

Yellow – Gouda, homemade aioli, tomato, iceberg lettuce and pickles

Blue – Feta cheese, black olive pesto, fresh green pepper, tomato and romaine lettuce

Emerald – Green Omelet, lemon tahini, tomato and pickles

White – Hard boiled egg, homemade aioli, slices of baked eggplant and tomato

Orange – Roasted pepper, soft goat cheese, black olive pesto and fresh arugula leaves

Red – Roasted cherry tomatoes, cream cheese, hard-boiled egg, basil pesto and olive oil

Green – Smoked mozzarella cheese, basil and olive oil, pesto, avocado and tomato

Purple – Fresh mozzarella cheese, basil and olive oil pesto, slices of baked eggplant, tomato and romaine lettuce

Rainbow – Cashew nut paste, black olive pesto, tomato, cucumber, green bell peppers and lettuce

Pink – Smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers, tomato, red onion and lettuce

Ocher – Baked root vegetable patties on lemon tahini with pesto, coriander, tomato and fresh arugula leaves

Silver – Herring with pickled onion and apples, cream cheese, cucumber and lettuce

All courses are served with a side salad (soup excluded)

Mini quiche – 3 quiches of your choice from our daily selection

Veggie-burger – Mushrooms, lentils, caramelized onions and walnut patties, served on chutney spread in steamed buns

Lasagna – Made with mozzarella, parmesan and roasted vegetables

Soup of the day – Made from seasonal vegetables, served with bread and black olive pesto

Stew of the day – Served with side salad

Served with sourdough bread and butter

Shraga – Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, Feta cheese and red onion. Seasoned with olive oil, lemon and black olive pesto

Green – Lettuce, mixed greens, rocket leaves, cucumber, pears and walnuts seasoned with vinaigrette

Health – Quinoa, mixed greens, apples, celery, walnuts and red onion in a homemade citrus vinaigrette and some yogurt

Joy – Roasted carrot and sweet potato cubes, lentils and mixed greens, seasoned with balsamic vinegar and soy sauce and topped with goat cheese from the Galilee

Home – Bulgur & lentil mjaddara with minced tomato, cucumber, bell peppers and onion, in a tahini and yogurt sauce

We make everything in house, except for the raw ingredients, which we purchase from the best suppliers
Our menu is based on the wonderful cheeses crafted in “Jacob’s Farm”. This boutique dairy was founded more than 40 years ago, and keeps on churning.
Our bread is delivered each morning from the charming, family-owned “Duvdevan” bakery. This handmade sourdough bread is produced without yeasts or sugar. No wonder it tastes so-o good
You probably asked yourself what makes our coffee so damn good, we are delighted to introduce Dada, roasting and mixing the best coffee beans served in this city.
We are supplied with fresh vegetables by our veteran greengrocers daily. You can count on them to hand-pick only the best. Once in while, when we feel festive, we go to the market to get inspired and fill our stocks by our own
